Two Big Announcements

Good Morning!
It is with an excited heart that I tell you that we intend to start services together again next week. Listen to what PD has to say at the and let the church know what your plans/thoughts are.
Today we hear God speak again (through his messengers), first time in 400 years: Do you think we should listen? Do think what He has to say is relevant to our world today? I would imagine and hope that the answer to both of those rhetorical is a resounding YES!

The Gospel of Certainty

Luke -- More than just the account of the birth of Christ. Luke uses the terms salvation and saved more than any of the other Gospel account. He was an historian and a theologian who sought to bring the certainty of the accounts of eyewitnesses and other believers to the generations of believers who would follow.
When we consider the other gospel accounts we learn that Matthew portrayed Jesus as the awaited King. Mark portrays him as a servant and John brings him to us as God in the flesh. Luke however, brings him to us as a man: His humanity on display and his deity for all to see...if they were willing.

God...You're Not Listening

Greetings on this unusual Sunday morning.
Of all the things we can absolutely know for sure is that God is still in control and His word is still true.
We enter a new book of study this week: Habakkuk. Join us this week as PD moves through chapter 1.
 
May the peace of God dwell richly, deeply and fully in your hearts during these tumultuous days.

Resurrection Sunday

Resurrection Sunday - or as it has been said -- SUNDAY HAS COME!
From 1 Cor. 15 Pastor Dan brings to us the life changing reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, it isn't only His resurrection that we celebrate, we celebrate our victory in Him. This victory wasn't earned by us, it was given to us by Jesus.

Trusting God in Dark Times

Good Morning,
All of us are living in an unprecedented times. While our parents and grandparents lived through the Great Depression and many through the Second World War: None of them experienced what we are currently living. Our very way of life has been permanently altered and yet, being able to join in this manner brings some degree of normalcy.
Today's message is from Psalm 56 and addresses the very issue of fear and uncertainty in our lives.
 
Be of good courage and trust in Christ for everything in your world.

Do Your Job

Greetings to all of our homebound brothers and sisters.
Pastor Dan explores the last part of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 3 as he concludes our time in this epistle from Paul. PD also wants us to remember that during this time on uncertainty there are 3 things about God we can know for sure:
1. God is at work to glorify Himself
2. God is at work to make His children more like Jesus Christ.
3. God is at work calling more people in to His family.
 
So in many ways, things are still the same. The admonition from Paul this morning is the same as it as has always been...Do Your Job!
